Spring is nearly here and so has the perfect excuse to enjoy the outdoors, connect with friends and neighbours, and discover new ways to be involved in your local community!

Warrnambool Community Garden is opening its gates for Discovery Day, a free, all-ages event that’s all about learning, laughter, and connection.
Saturday 20 September, 10am–2pm, Warrnambool Community Garden
Book your free ticket so we know you're coming!
Held on the lands of the Peek Whurrong people, Discovery Day begins with an Acknowledgement of Country, honouring the traditional custodians of this beautiful six-acre garden. From there, let the festivities unfold as talented local musicians provide the live soundtrack to a day packed full of activities, food, and inspiration.
Explore, taste, and connect
Take a wander through the garden, map in hand, and check out the progress of the pond renovation and exciting plans for the second stage of the quarry amphitheatre project. Work is soon to be underway on the lush rainforest gully and new ideas are blooming to better connect the garden with the Miura Friendship Garden.
Pumpkin colouring comp
Under 12s can enter in the pumpkin design colouring in competition, with the artwork by Talia Hauraki for a chance to win a creative art pack, worth $30, issue of Kelp Magazine
or free Kids in the Kitchen session.
You can print the artwork before by downloading it and dropping it off to any of the garden markets on Wednesdays, 3-6pm.
