About the event
Calling all mini-chefs for this tasty session! Connecting the garden with the kitchen through food in this fun nutrition-focused session. Kids will develop practical skills by preparing and cooking seasonal produce, empowering them to make healthier choices.
With the support of the Warrnambool City Council's Healthy Warrnambool Funding, we're delighted to offer these sessions free for our community.
Places are limited for this session so by registering you're committing to a spot. If you can no longer make it, we need to know. Carers must stay with children for the whole session.
Sprouts Club is our after-school program covering an introduction to gardening, learning how to plant, grow, harvest and share the delicious fruit, vegetables and herbs the children and their carers grow. We also offer craft-focused sessions on the first Wednesday of the month, visit wcg3280.org.au/kids to book.
These sessions are suitable for 6 to 12-year-olds and run weekly in line with the Wednesday garden market. You don't have to be garden members to come along to these sessions, they are open to all.
