About the event

Want to get more veggies in your life? Join us for a fun, hands-on cooking session where you’ll learn how to turn fresh garden produce into delicious veggie burgers the whole family will love! Clare Vaughan and Di Pettigrew, with some trusty helpers, did an experimental cook up prior to the first Harfest. This workshop will form the preparation for our next BBQ event at the Spring Fling on 14 November.

You’ll chop, mash, mix, and shape your own batch of hearty burgers packed with seasonal vegetables, herbs, and chickpeas. These burgers are thrifty, nutritious, and freezer-friendly too!

Each participant will take home two ready-to-cook or ready-to-freeze burgers, along with the recipe so you can easily make them again at home.

When: Sunday 8 November, 2pm to 5pm

Where: HUB at Warrnambool Community Garden, corner of Grieve and Derby Street

What to bring: Apron, container for take-home burgers, and a big…
