About the event

Imagine what stories might be found in the Warrnambool Community Gardens! Join us once a month to read, explore and write stories in the gardens.

Aimed at primary-school aged kids, this series of sessions will involve different kinds of engagement with the creative world of the gardens.

We will listen to stories, make maps, imagine characters, come up with plotlines, create backgrounds, and explore the potential of this place as a site for stories.

The cost is $5 a session which will fall on the first Wednesday of the month (except July, which is school holidays).

The sessions are capped at 10 participants:

We acknowledge the Peek Whurrong People of the Maar Nation as the original custodians of the land on which we meet and garden. Our garden adjoins a significant place, we continue to learn its history as we work together in a spirit of reconciliation.
