About the event

Interested in doing something a bit different with orchids? Join the Warrnambool and District Orchid Society, for an informative workshop designed for everyone, whether you've had orchids for ages or are just starting out.

Discover the best orchid varieties for our climate

We'll discuss orchid groups that thrive in our climate, why mounting them on boards or rocks works, and how to care for orchids that aren't in pots. Learn which types of orchids, natives and others, can be kept this way.

Get hands-on

Mount a baby orchid to take home. Join our discussion, watch a demonstration, then have a go with the plants and materials provided.

We acknowledge the Peek Whurrong People of the Maar Nation as the original custodians of the land on which we meet and garden. Our garden adjoins a significant place, we continue to learn its history as we work together in a spirit of reconciliation.
