About the event

Want to reduce single-use plastics at home? Cling film, Gladwrap, or plastic wrap is a big issue: it's not reusable, and immediately ends up in landfill and our oceans, leaching chemicals for years and causing harm to the environment.

Beeswax wraps are the perfect substitute to cover bowls, wrap up sandwiches, cheese, fruit and snacks. The wraps made with all natural materials and are pliable, washable and can be shaped to fit a variety of uses.

Learn how to make beeswax wraps and take home a set of three wraps. All materials are supplied and the process is very simple.  Workshop suitable for anyone 12 years and older.

Workshop facilitated by Dianne Membery, Wrapped with Love Beeswax Wraps.

Let's start off with being more environmentally friendly in 2024.

If you have a suggestion for a future workshop, we would love to hear it, email wcggrows@gmail.com and we'll see what we can do.

We acknowledge the Peek Whurrong People of the Maar Nation as the original custodians of the land on which we meet and garden. Our garden adjoins a significant place, we continue to learn its history as we work together in a spirit of reconciliation.
