Live in the Quarry

Good vibes, tasty food and the great outdoors - it’s all about family, community, music, dancing, laughing and singing. Held on the lands of the Peek Whurrong and Maar Nations, celebrate the amazing transformation that’s happened in the quarry so far.

After lots of hard work to complete the initial stage of the revitalisation, the grass is ready for its first event and we look forward to welcoming you into this beautiful space.  We're grateful for Warrnambool City Council's support through their event grants program. 

There will be a selection of delicious food stalls to choose from as well, or you are welcome to BYO food. Our garden bar will be well-stocked with local beer, wine and cider plus botanical cocktails.  

The event offers a family-friendly environment backed up with plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained. 

Come together on the slope, share a picnic, relax and enjoy the great atmosphere or get up and boogie to our bands and DJs.

With a fantastic line-up of live music, local vendors and tours of the garden, it’s the perfect way to celebrate summer's eve.

Due to the steep nature of the quarry amphitheatre, unfortunately, this event isn’t suitable for all abilities. We’re still working on the access to make this space suitable for everyone.

We're also looking for some people to help volunteer on the day, bump in, for two-hour shifts and bump out. Volunteers get free tickets, contact wcggrows@gmail.com if you're interested.
