Botanical names: Latin for beginners with Chris Rockley

Plant labels, books, and gardening conversations are full of botanical names, but many gardeners avoid using them because they can seem difficult to pronounce or remember.

In this relaxed and practical workshop, Chris Rockley, professional scientific illustrator, will demystify botanical Latin, explain why scientific names are so useful, and share simple ways to recognise, pronounce, and remember them. By the end, you'll feel much more confident using plant names and understanding what they can tell us about the plants themselves.

Cost is $25 covering costs with donation to garden activities.
