DIY irrigation systems

Watering is a vital part of gardening in Australia. Hand watering has lots of benefits, but it's also time-consuming and requires lots of self-discipline to not miss watering. 

We use a combination of irrigation and hand watering. We'll share our experience, looking at:

• Drip, spray and mixed systems
• Calculating how long your system can be
• Basic components of home systems
• Planning a system layout
• Basics of building a system - with hands-on practice

You'll get the skills you need to set up your own home watering system. 

Lunch included in the ticket price. Wear clothes that can get dirty kneeling in a garden and bring gardening gloves.
