Home school group - Term 4 gardening program

This fun weekly program from 2-3pm covers an introduction to gardening, learning how to plant, grow, harvest and share the delicious fruit, vegetables and herbs the children and their carers grow.

Children must be at least 6 years old to join and carers must stay on site for the session. 

Activities can include almost anything. Think soil preparation, planting seeds, caring for plants, harvesting, visiting the chooks, feeding the worm farm and composting and more. They will also help build habitat for wildlife and learn some garden ecology.
