About the event
There's no such thing as too many plants - right? Especially if they're free! Join some of our plant propagators to learn how to increase plant numbers through cuttings.
We'll discuss different approaches and do some hands-on practice. You'll get tips on the different media you can use to pot up your cuttings, where to buy and how to use stimulants to get the root development happening and look at the biology behind how cuttings work so you'll be set up for success for your own cutting experiments.
You will take home at least two sets of cuttings to try and grow on, although the timing of this workshop is really to have participants ready for autumn. It's the perfect time to learn this skill and the workshop will pay for itself many times over with the amount of free plants you can grow by learning these techniques. Workshop includes notes and all materials and plant material to practice on.
If you have a suggestion for a future workshop, we would love to hear it, email firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll see what we can do.
