About the event

We're excited to collaborate with Warrnambool Multicultural Association to celebrate the flavours and traditions of our diverse community while learning new digital skills in a friendly, hands-on environment.

Try out easy translation apps, finding out the names of plants, fruits and vegetables from around the world, helping us plan our international exchange bed. Share stories and recipes using fresh local produce, uncovering new tastes. Friendly volunteers will guide you through using technology to connect and grow together. All ages and backgrounds welcome, no digital experience necessary. Discover new ingredients, meet new people and get inspired to keep learning garden and sustainability skills online.

We're also looking for some people to help volunteer for an hour or two, volunteers get a free pack of seeds, contact grow@wcg3280.org.au if you're interested.

Please note we will be taking event photography and videography, if you don't want to be included let one of our volunteers…

We acknowledge the Peek Whurrong People of the Maar Nation as the original custodians of the land on which we meet and garden. Our garden adjoins a significant place, we continue to learn its history as we work together in a spirit of reconciliation.
