About the event

Free plants!!! Sprouts will learn how plants multiply and the different techniques to make one into many. Grow your child's inner gardener with our engaging after-school program that offers an introduction to the world of gardening! In this hands-on experience, children will learn how to plant, grow, and harvest their own delicious fruits, vegetables, and herbs... and discover the joy of sharing their bounty with family and friends.

Build connections and essential skills

Designed for children aged 6 to 12, our weekly sessions align perfectly with the Wednesday garden market, making it easy for busy families to participate. The program is open to everyone, no garden membership required! Plus, caregivers to stay and join in on the fun, fostering connections and shared experiences.

What to expect

Each session is packed with exciting activities that spark curiosity and creativity. Activities will change from month to month.

We acknowledge the Peek Whurrong People of the Maar Nation as the original custodians of the land on which we meet and garden. Our garden adjoins a significant place, we continue to learn its history as we work together in a spirit of reconciliation.
