About the event

Join us in the quarry amphitheatre for a kids circus workshop with the acrobats from One Fell Swoop Circus, then stay for the evening performance of In Common.

In this workshop, we’ll explore the simple physics that makes acrobalance (partner and group balancing) possible. Participants will construct mini versions of the ‘tensegrity’ structures used in In Common, followed by an acrobalance lesson where we’ll learn balances and pyramids in groups. The workshop highlights themes of balance, forces, and working together that are central to the show.

This workshop and In Common performance would not be possible without our generous supporters: Jamie Tait, Gwen and Edna Jones Foundation, William & Linsday Brodie Foundation, Ray & Joyce Uebergang Foundation, Jan Braun, Rod Sheard, Eda Ritchie, Dawn’s Production Solutions, Oaklands Productions, Port Fairy Spring Music Festival, Langley’s Holiday Accommodation, Hire Australia and Tim Edwards Audio.
