About the event
Join chef and educator Cat Clarke for a hands-on foray into the delicious diversity of native bush tucker.
Designed for home cooks and food lovers, this workshop explores the vibrant tastes and stories of Australia’s native ingredients-while honouring the deep knowledge and traditions of First Nations peoples.
Cat recently opened a restaurant at the Dimboola Golf Club, where she creates seasonal menus inspired by the region’s incredible produce and bush foods. While she’s stepped back from full-time teaching, she still shares her passion through special classes and school visits when invited—continuing her mission to inspire the next generation of cooks.
Begin with a bush food garden tour, where you’ll learn about aromatic plants like lemon myrtle, mountain pepper, and native mints. Cat will then show you how to infuse these sensational flavours into your own kitchen, sharing tips and recipes inspired by her passion for local produce and native foods.
